This match demonstrates that though WSX did not have a long shelf life overall they still grew somewhat as a company over their short existence. This match looks like it could be a decent opener for a major company (think TNA) even if it is way too short (as are roughly 99 percent of all WSX matches). Plus, even though I loved Fabian’s role, it was nice to see him be more reserved here and not overshadow the talent.
Unfortunately, this clip demonstrates at least one other problem with WSX aside from the short allotment of time. Good Charlotte and wrestling will never go together no matter how much the “band” name drops Randy Savage and The Undertaker.
