This TLC match is a lot different than the classics we have experienced since the early 2000s. A lot of funny bits of both the unintentional and intentional variety, I mean just look at those smacks that KENSO delivers. You would think Omori and Soya would have more self-respect and just waste him right there. However, you would be wrong. Another fun little dynamic of this match is Omori and Soya’s unwillingness to use the ladder. It is a nice touch at first, but goes on a little too long.
Ultimately, the winners of this match would get a shot at the AJPW Unified World Tag Team Championship. I won’t spoil the ending, but I will say that Soya is willing to make an ass out of himself to get the shot!
