I have written before about CCW upholding the 1980’s standard of featuring a lot of jobber matches, but they were more than just a playground for squashes. Here, two big names go at it in a tight psychological ride. Also, I love the side note on commentary that Mantel can only hope to pin The Bullet with an abdominal stretch. Even back then everyone knew no one would ever submit to it!

Look for Jerry Stubbs to make an appearance at the finish. Also, Dirty White Boy makes a cameo at the end where the loser is giving their farewell promo wearing daisy dukes.
