Previously I posted about a case where Andre The Giant left two wrestlers absolutely devastated. Andre’s effort then begs the question, “could a much smaller wrestler obliterate two fighters in such a way and still be believable?” Well, in this clip Jerry Lawler attempts to do just that.
From the action in this match I think one can see why Ben Jordan never made it all that far in the wrestling business. Just about every bump he takes in this match looks awkward. Aside from Jordan’s performance Lawler’s rampage is pretty thorough if not all that believable and includes a spot out of Jake Roberts’ playbook when Lawler nails Chris Champion with a face cracking DDT on the outside. The King tying to smother Champion with the commentators’ table is also a lot of laughs.
