Perhaps the most vital element that a lot of young wrestlers are missing today is the ability to sell. Countless potential 5 star matches have been ruined, not because of the wrestlers ability to work the crowd, their move sets or their timing, but just because one wrestler or more was unable or unwilling to make themselves look vulnerable. In short if a wrestler gets hit with three finishers and appears unhurt than those finishers are worthless.
This is what makes Mike Cruz’s performance here all the more remarkable. As good as his much praised opponent Ricochet is, Mike Cruz’s ability to really make it look like Ricochet is beating the energy out of him makes the bout that much more believable.
Aside from Cruz’s selling look out for an incredible German suplex maneuver that Cruz hits after Ricochet bounces off the ropes. Good work guys! There are also some cameos from Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk, CIMA and Masaaki Mochizuki.
