Hey champs and champettes! The Johnson Transcript just came off of it’s most successful month ever with the highest traffic in the history of the website. It was no easy feat as August also featured the most posts ever for one month in the history of the site. This included 32 posts in the smooth runs section, 29 wrestling clips, nine exclusive interviews, four site news updates, two wrestling lists and the poll for The Johnson Transcript Surging Star Award for a whopping 77 posts! That is over a tenth of the content of the entire site!
Speaking of The Johnson Transcript Surging Star Award, on the last day of August, “The Juice” JT Dunn became the first ever winner of The Crown J. This was announced just after the poll closed on my Twitter account, which you should really follow. It is the best place on Twitter to keep up to date with news for The Johnson Transcript and features some exclusive content not otherwise featured on the site. In fact, the Twitter account also hit a milestone of it’s own in August by surpassing the 2,000 followers mark.
Also, last month Kyle Childers and Bad Booking contributed to a new piece for the first time in a while which can be found here. We hope to feature some more WWE Pay-per-view Roundtables in the future. Not for every roundtable, but certainly for some of the more interesting ones.
The 30 in 30 series that ran throughout August was also a success and I’ve been playing around with the idea of doing a sequel series. Readers, feel free to let me know if this is something that would interest you guys and girls.
Looking forward, The Johnson Transcript is in good shape to have an even more successful month in September. I’ve also been toying with the idea of featuring write-ups for ROH clips on Saturdays instead of Fridays so that they can go hand in hand with Beyond Wrestling clips added on Sunday. This allows for a clips for two awesome promotions to regularly run back to back. This is how I have updated the site this week, but depending on reader feedback I may not make this a permanent change.
