One of the perks that Mickie James gets from her name recognition thanks to WWE is the ability to work in both TNA and draw decent bookings from the independent scene. Here, she works a less than 10 minute triple threat match for Maryland Championship Wrestling against rising star Mia Yim and independent veteran Melissa Coates.
Although Coates comes out to Lady Gaga for her entrance she has more of a Luna Vachon vibe going on in this match. James and Yim don’t seem to appreciate it because they double team her from the start. James and Yim don’t last long as a team and the commentators build up the tension between the two. Once James and Yim start battling each other it is just a matter of time before James picks up the win.
