Here are the facts about OPW’s Youtube channel:
Number of videos: 58
Frequency new videos are added: The channel was launched 18 months ago, but has not been updated at all in two months. So a little less than four new uploads were made a month on average.
Frequency full shows are added: OPW sells it’s full shows at Smart Mark Video so it is unlikely any full shows will be uploaded when there is profit to be made.
Total views of the most popular video: 1,116

OPW is a New Jersey based promotion founded in 2012 that runs some of the same cities and towns as Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). As such it may not come as a surprise that OPW uses a lot of the same talent as CZW including Matt Tremont, Joe Gacy, Chris Dickinson and others. OPW’s YouTube channel consists of plenty of promos, video packages, some match clips (mostly under two minutes) and a small selection of full free matches. The full free matches are top notch with good picture, lighting, commentary and onscreen graphics. The in-ring action is worthy as well as it tends to leave you wanting to check out more OPW or another promotion featuring their talent like CZW or Beyond Wrestling. The channel has had a dry spell lately with no new videos added since early June, but with active accounts on Facebook and Twitter it is likely more videos will be uploaded at some point. Probably no full shows though because they are released through Smart Mark Video.

Latin Dragon vs. Xavier Cross
This match between Latin Dragon and Xavier Cross was the first match on the first card of the year for OPW, OPW Now or Never. OPW Now or Never was also one of the first shows the company ever held in general. So yeah, there are a lot of firsts going on in this footage.
The clip opens with Cross coming out with his manager Loudy to “Like a Prayer” by Madonna. This is supposed to get him heel heat because his gimmick is that he is effeminate and a cross dresser in denial. However, that Madonna song is pretty sweet so that just makes me like him more. Loudy gets on the mic and says, “Citizens of On Point Wrestling if you can do me a favor and keep the noise down.” This old heel move of course gets the crowd going louder than ever. Loudy then lists chants he doesn’t want to hear, which again gets the chants stirred right up. Latin Dragon then comes out with Chrissy Rivera and it is on.
After a few minutes of feeling each other out Dragon hits a step-up rana. When Cross retreats to the outside and turns his back to quiet the crowd down, Dragon goes to the second rope and does a flip onto Cross, but with an extra rotation or two.
Despite Dragon’s high flying abilities eventually both find themselves on the mat after an exchange of kicks. As the two rise they exchange strikes and each look ready to land a finishing move. However, Loudy assures that the end will not be fully free of shenanigans.
