*JT Dunn, 25, the 2012 winner of The Johnson Transcript Surging Star Award, wrestled against fellow Beyond Wrestling veterans Chris Dickinson, 28, and Jaka on October 25 at Beyond Wrestling Gratitude Era. In separate matches Dunn defeated Jaka and lost to Dickinson. The affair was promoted as, “Months in the making,” and worked to push Dunn into the void recently left in Beyond Wrestling by Biff Busick. Dickinson won his match by hitting Dunn with a chair. After the bout, Shynron and Da Hit Squad consisting of Dan Maff, 38, and Steve Mack, 36, hit the ring to make the save.
*Io Shirai, 25, and Mayu Iwatani, 22, had the rare opportunity to team with wrestling legend Ultimo Dragon, 48, for Japan’s Stardom promotion on October 25. The mixed tag team match was the main event of Stardom Mask Fiesta 2015, which was the company’s latest installment in an annual series of Halloween themed shows. On the card Shirai went by the name Midnight Angel while Iwatani wrestled as MAYUCHICA. The trio defeated Black Dragon, KAORU, 46, and La Rosa Negra, 33. This is the first match Ultimo Dragon has had for Stardom since 2011.
*At the Pure Wrestling Association (PWA) in Canada, Alexia Nicole, 19, won the PWA Elite Women’s Championship on October 24. The 4’11” Nicole ended the 182 day reign of Beautiful Beaa, who has held this title three times, at PWA Bad Dreams.
*At Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE) in England, the first ever holder of the Queen of Southside Championship, Kay Lee Ray, 23, lost her title on October 24 at the SWE Fifth Anniversary Show. The title change happened as the result of a ladder match pitting the mixed tag team of Ray and El Ligero against another mixed tag team in Jimmy Havoc, 31, and Nixon Newell. Also, on the line was Havoc’s SWE Speed King Championship. New champion Newell topped a star studded card that included names like X-Pac, 43, Austin Aries, 37, and Drew Galloway.
*Mary Elizabeth Monroe, 24, made her wrestling debut for Ring of Honor (ROH) on October 24 at ROH Glory By Honor XIV: Champions vs. All Stars in Dayton, Ohio. Monroe came to the ring accompanied by longtime ROH performer BJ Whitmer, 37, and wrestled under the name Kelly Klein. Following a dark match, Klein’s bout officially opened the show as Klein defeated Ray Lyn, 27, in what was also Lyn’s ROH debut.
*Ronaldo, 23, wrestled in a main event for the German Wrestling Federation (GWF) on October 24. At GWF Next Wrestling Star 2, Ronaldo lost a triple threat match to Pete Bouncer, 28, for the GWF Next Wrestling Star Championship. Orlando Silver, 32, was also involved in the match for the previously vacant title.
*Dylan Bostic, 23, who has recently been working a lot for the International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) in Pennsylvania wrestled in the main event for White River Wrestling (WRW) on October 24 in Fishers, Indiana. Bostic closed out the WRW October 24, 2015 show in a losing effort to Jake Omen, 30, for the previously vacant WRW Heavyweight Championship. Not on the line in the match was Bostic’s IWC Super Indy Championship, the same title previously held by stars such as AJ Styles, 37, Chris Sabin, 33, and Colt Cabana, 35.
*In Full Impact Pro (FIP)based in Florida, Reed Bentley, 24, made his debut in the promotion and teamed with John Wayne Murdoch, 26, and Trik Travis, 30, as Team IWA Mid-South at FIP Fallout 2015: Night 1 on October 23. The trio emerged victorious over Team Outlaw Wrestling consisting of Bull Bronson, Devin Cutter, and Mason Cutter. This was a first round match in the FIP Fallout 2015 Six Man Tag Team Tournament.
*At FIP Fallout 2015: Night 2, The Viking War Party made up of Frank Wyatt, The American Viking, and The Little Viking, 23, defeated Team IWA Mid-South in the second round when the 2013 winner of The Crown J, Bentley ate a pin. The entire tournament was won by a group made up of Nick Iggy, 25, Jake Dirden, 32, and Kerry Awful, 29. The trio defeated Alex Mason, Rude Boy Riley, and Sonny Kiss. The latter team lost the match after Dirden knocked out Mason.
*At 4 Front Wrestling (4FW) in England, Tiger Ali, 22, successfully defended the 4FW Heavyweight Championship against Saime Sahin on October 23 at 4FW WrestleWar 2015. This was Ali’s first defense during his second reign with the title.
