The way the commentators are selling this match I almost thought Huracan Castillo Sr. was going to kick out of the big elbow drop. Of course no one aside from The Ultimate Warrior could withstand that many elbow drops. Even the plethora of elbows not from the top rope look devastating!
This match reminds me a little of the Sid Justice assaults leading up to Wrestlemania VIII that would come years later. With the extent of the violence and Savage’s natural talent of playing a villain it is no wonder that the crowd gets into a frenzy. Throw in Puerto Rico’s ultimate babyface, Carlos Colon trying to stop Savage and you have the ingredients to a riot.
