The Beaver Boys vs. Azrieal and Bandido Jr.
Tomorrow at CZW New Heights 2014, The Beaver Boys consisting of John Silver and Alex Reynolds will be one of three teams challenging for the CZW World Tag Team Championship. As such the folks at CZW uploaded this clip from CZW New Heights 2013. The Beaver Boys are gunning for titles held by The Juicy Product, “The Juice” JT Dunn and “The Product” David Starr tomorrow. Yet, a year ago they also put on this great show against Azrieal and Bandido Jr.
John Silver and Bandido Jr. have great chemistry from the opening and there is a nifty series of moves where Silver tosses the taller Bandido Jr. across the ring not once, not twice, but thrice! Azrieal doesn’t get tagged into the match until about seven minutes into it, but when he does he explodes with a belly-to-back suplex to Reynolds on the apron. The best portions of this match though have to be the times when Silver/Reynolds and Azrieal/Bandido Jr. really gel as respective teams. Towards the end of the match there are two times when it looks like for sure The Beaver Boys are going to eat a capital L. The first is when Bandido Jr. hits Silver with a release German suplex then Azrieal hits a double stomp from the top rope. The second is moments later when Reynolds gets hit with Azrieal/Bandido Jr.’s dreaded double stomp/DDT combo. Ultimately, it is a double team move that wins, but rather than suffering a loss. The Beaver Boys score a capital W.
